   One of my oldest friends once told me, “I’m always surprised by people who are confused by my conservative lifestyle and liberal views.”

   Then there is always the confounding look of the face of some when confronted with a “lipstick lesbian”…

   And finally, to quote our dear Mr. Rogers: “We like you just the way you are!”

   The difficulty arises when you can’t find those people with open ,minds willing to spend time around you.
